How long will my vinyl
fence last?
The vinyl
fences we supply are manufactured to provide durability
and longevity. All our vinyl products carry a fully
transferable non prorated lifetime
warranty. The base ingredient PVC is altered to
provide for increased superior impact resistance and
ultra violet protection. With our fences
and proper installation,
one can be assured of a fence
that will remain aesthetically appealing and structurally
sound.
 What
warranty comes with the purchase of a vinyl
fence?
The vinyl fences we supply are warranted against manufacturing
defects for a lifetime of the product. See warranty
document for the specific warranty.
Recycled Plastic?
The vinyl fences we supply
do not use the waste stream as a source. Some other
vinyl fences do and it reduces the quality of the products.
Our vinyl fences are recyclable
and are used when the plastic meets rigid specifications.
Will Vinyl Fencing Yellow Over Time?
Our vinyl is made of high content (10 parts per 100
parts) of TIO2 (titanium dioxide) and ultraviolet inhibitors
which have been proven to prevent yellowing. As a result,
we can back our products with a
lifetime warranty against yellowing.
Will vinyl
fencing chip, peel or decay?
Our vinyl fences are engineered
to withstand chipping, peeling, and decay for their
full service life.
Are weed eaters and similar products a problem?
Direct contact with weed eaters, lawn mowers, and similar
equipment can cause damage. Be careful when using such
equipment around your fence.
What about mold and mildew?
Persistent damp weather can lead to mold and mildew
on vinyl fencing. They can be easily removed with ordinary
detergent and water.
What kind of maintenance does vinyl fence require?
A mild detergent and water are all you should need to
keep your fence
looking new. For tough stains, use a non abrasive cleaner.
For best appearance, we recommend you wash your fence
once a year.
Can vinyl fencing break?
Our vinyl is made of high content impact inhibitors
which prevent breaking of properly installed fencing
under normal use and conditions. Of course, dramatic
and direct impact such as being struck by a car can
cause damage.
Will fencing become brittle in cold weather?
While plastic materials do become less flexible when its cold Vinyl Visions
components are designed to accommodate normal temperature swings. The
impact inhibitors we use to prevent breaking also help our components
withstand cold weather conditions.
Will fencing expand?
Vinyl fencing will contract and expand according to
the temperature. This is normal and expected, and is
factored in when fencing is fabricated.
How does vinyl versus wood compare on cost?
Although the initial cost of vinyl is slightly higher than wood, vinyl’s
long term, maintenance free durability more than makes up for the cost
difference.
Is there a limit on height?
Check your local building code guidelines on fence height.
